Datamatics Staffing Services Ltd. (DSSL) has recruited a Chief Operations Officer for an Indian Chemical Company having its presence across the globe.

Our client had given us the mandate to identify a leader to help them drive the aggressive growth plans and lead operational excellence initiatives. This person would be assisting the Joint Managing Director in their mission to achieve a 100% growth in next 3 years. Leadership qualities, maturity, cultural adaptability, ability to influence actively both internal and external stakeholders were key areas required in the incumbent.

The client was looking for a professional with strong understanding of process manufacturing, exports and global supply chain. The ideal candidate would be highly energetic; action oriented and required strong decision making skills including inputs to strategic decisions like build vs buy.

After an intensive engagement with several candidates, Our Client zeroed in on a highly qualified professional working as Head of Operations with a MNC in Specialty Chemicals. The position required the incumbent to relocate from North India to West India as well as shift from an MNC to our client.
